At NHHSA West we focus on patching up and refining the academic skills students need to be prepared for college or vocational training. We work hard to provide customizable programs that best suit the needs of our students, most of whom study on home-based schedules and come in for tutoring. We believe a proper education should serve the priorities, needs, and natural interests of our students, rather than force them to conform to the prerequisites of a rigid curriculum. NHHSA West offers flexibility to our students while simultaneously enforcing high standards of academic achievement. Given this newfound freedom to pursue individual goals, we believe our students are better suited to adapt to higher standards. And that is precisely what we expect of them and push them to do.
Although we are currently enrolling for only grades 8 and above, we are also available for collaborative "learning pod" arrangements open for ALL grade levels. NHHSA West will host pods of 8-10 students who meet on our premises 2-3 times per week for 5 hour study sessions. If you're interested in putting together a learning pod hosted at the office of NHHSA West, get in touch with our director to customize a semester or quarter-long class schedule and make tuition arrangements. NHHSA West handles the hiring of educators, private tutors, billing, grading, and monthly progress reports for the duration of the pod.
